The DOCKS is a sonic response to political dystopia. Formed in 2014 by vocalist, composer and curator Olesya Zdorovetska, the group features some of Ireland’s leading improvisers. Taking the social fabric of our world as inspiration, the DOCKS weave a broad array of influences including noise, jazz, classical and electronic music into their compositional approach. “The glowing edge of the Dublin creative music scene” – Irish Times Culture Derek Whyte – electric bass Olesya Zdorovetska – vocal Colm O’Hara – trombone Keith Lindsay – electronics Shane O’Donovan – drums Doors 8.30 Music 9 Entry €10
