Free psychedelic improvisers Zeropunkt will play their only Dublin date of the year upstairs at Arthur’s on Thomas Street on April 24th at 9pm. Zeropunkt is: Fergus Cullen: saxophones, guitars, voice, keys, synthesizer, clarinet, piano, flutes; Jamie Davis: drums, percussion, saxophone; Damien Lennon: bass, effects.

Press for “Bitch Nails”:

“A subdued & organic, yet affected nine minutes of hauntological glow, as if to evoke every wordless Sunday sunrise you’ve shared with people both old and new”. (The Thin Air)

“In every positive way we have compositional relativity to that which was featured on 2017’s excellent Sediments album … everything slips beautifully off-key somewhere around the 2:35 minute mark, with the ever-increasing intrusion of cymbal washes and some indeterminate chiming – it’s a wonderfully creepy intestinal tangent … BITCH NAILS strolls toward its it’s 8:45 minute demise with strangely tranquilising psychedelic ambience”. Press for Sediments LP:

“Reviewing Miles Davis’ In A Silent Way … Lester Bangs opined … : “It is part of a transcendental new music which flushes categories away and, while using musical devices from all styles and cultures, is defined mainly by its deep emotion and unaffected originality”—a summation that could serve just as well for Sediments … [which] may yet prove to be just as timeless.” (All About Jazz)
